Description
• Work with retail chains, independent accounts, and distributors to grow sales • Use Salesforce to maintain a database of new and current account opportunities • Communicate quarterly promotion plans to retailers to drive sales • Track sales progress to identify opportunities to increase sales velocities • Conduct retail audits as requested for correct placement, merchandising, and pricing • Develop expertise in the competitive landscape • Build relationships with distributor sales reps • Manage relationships at the Distributor DC level • Attend trade shows as needed • Deliver sales goals within budget • Demonstrate knowledge of order process and supply chain
Requirements
• Bachelor of Arts or Science degree • 4+ Years of Sales experience • The ability to succeed in a fast-paced and competitive work environment • Strong work ethic with the ability to overcome objections and build trust • Working knowledge of Salesforce software and the sales process • High level of competency on Excel and PowerPoint • Excellent written and oral communication skills, listening skills, presentation skills, and customer service skills • Strong attention to detail, good judgment, and the ability to make good decisions to get the job done • Independent and highly collaborative role working with cross-functional team • Must have reliable transportation to conduct store audits • Contacts and working knowledge of Key Retailers in the region they are assigned • Knowledge of UNFI and KeHE
