Description

• Drive key strategic initiatives in insurance policy administration platforms, accounting ledger systems, and billing systems • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams • Develop a solid understanding of Kin’s business, customers, and operations • Build effective working relationships with Kin colleagues and internal stakeholders • Enjoy solving problems and take the initiative to build cases and start projects • Work closely with the Product Director to define and communicate the product vision • Assist in creating and managing product roadmaps • Dig into data and product experience to understand user problems and develop solutions • Collaborate with user research team and share learnings • Partner closely with development team to socialize product plans • Write user stories for development teams • Ensure successful rollout of features via communication and training • Monitor metrics that demonstrate product success • Coordinate and lead regular team and stakeholder meetings • Motivate the development team and connect daily work with bigger goals

Requirements

• 2-5 years of professional experience • 3+ years of software or technology product management experience; preferably working with insurance policy administration systems • Vendor management experience; preferably in payments • Extensive experience working with agile product and engineering teams in startup and/or rapid-growth environments • Demonstrated expertise working in big data and BI tools (ex. Adobe, Tableau, Looker) • Hard Skills • Proficient in SQL and data analysis • Customer Research • Technical proficiency • Effective and concise written and verbal communication • Strong project management skills and well organized • A/B testing and other experimentation experience • Soft Skills • Ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into concrete action plans • Thinks strategically and with a business mindset • Ability to motivate and influence others without authority • Ability to communicate with empathy and precision • A positive mindset and ability to work collaboratively with team members across the organization • Calm under pressure • Time management and prioritization; ability to managed deadlines • Inclusive mindset and high EQ, valuing differing opinions and healthy conflict • Eagerness and willingness to learn, improve, and ask questions
