Description

• ZenBusiness is seeking a Sr. Engineering Manager for the new customer acquisition team. • Work closely with management, engineers, marketing, product owners, and designers. • Build and deliver new product features and enhancements that change the lives of small business customers. • Direct, manage, and participate in the day-to-day operations of a team of highly skilled software engineers. • Report to the Sr. Director of Engineering.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience leading and growing high-performance technology teams with an emphasis on shipping web-based products, in partnership with product owners, designers, and marketing stakeholders. • Minimum of five years of relevant software development experience. • Experienced in WordPress development, including best practices, performance, and innovation. • Proven track record for high-quality product delivery that is data-driven through experimentation leveraging tools such as LaunchDarkly. • Demonstrate a desire for coaching up a strong succession of talent. • Experience managing other people leaders of all skill levels. • Experience working in an Agile environment using Scrum or Kanban methodologies. • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively. • Curious and comfortable learning new things and diving in where needed. • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to articulate your decisions, whiteboard new solutions, present ideas concisely, and defend your ideas.
