• Developing direct relationships with key influencers in lighting selection. • Encouraging sales with third-party representatives through various activities. • Involvement in industry organizations locally. • Active participation in local and national events. • Involvement with key account and national account activities. • Communicating monthly reports on anticipated project closings. • Managing activities to an annual budget for travel and expenses. • Maintaining opportunity/project database in CRM. • Supporting the sales team.
• Candidate must show proof of US citizenship/visa/alien registration. • No sponsorship will be offered for this role. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • A strong understanding of lighting terms, architectural terms, and the ability to read construction drawings and documents preferred. • A strong understanding of the lighting industry in the US; preferable experience in Contract Business. • Technical skills required to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on client requirements. • Excellent organization skills, with emphasis on timeliness, priorities, and goal setting. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
