Description

• Understand GLG’s value proposition and solution offerings • Learn assigned accounts and collaborate with account executives and internal partners to pursue untapped opportunities • Understand client investment strategies to best position relevant GLG solutions • Conduct outreach to existing and new clients via phone or in-person • Confidently interact with clients of all seniority levels in meetings to uncover pain points • Log notes from client meetings and update CRM system accordingly • Prepare account plans and strategy around account goals • Actively update client coverage and understand the importance of client mapping for thoughtful client outreach • Prepare contract renewal analysis along with relationship review decks for each account renewal • Willingness to stay in this role for at least 2 years

Requirements

• 1-2 years of sales, account management, or financial services experience • Proven track record of building relationships with clients • Strong working knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint • Excellent problem-solving, organization, and prioritization skills • Experience presenting to an audience over phone or in-person • Ability to handle multiple tasks and tight deadlines without oversight • Experience performing data analysis and translating findings into account strategies • Desire to work in sales or account management as a career in the long run • Experience, or interest in, selling information services and/or selling to financial services firms • Bachelor’s degree from a leading college or university
