Description
• The GLG Law Business Development Manager will work with the team to address our law firm clients’ expert witness needs. • Managers are responsible for primarily phone-based outreach and relationship development. • Drive opportunities start to finish, culminating with increased adoption and usage of GLG’s services across national and global client accounts. • Creating and managing phone and email campaigns to connect with existing and prospective users. • Obtain in-person (or virtual) meetings existing and prospective users across the organization.
Requirements
• 3+ years of professional sales experience is required, preferably in law or professional services • Bachelors or higher degree (or equivalent work experience) • Superior communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation abilities • Confidence in making outbound cold calls • Receptive to coaching and feedback • Demonstrated commitment, judgment, emotional maturity, and intensity, ideally in a fast-paced, multi-task-oriented environment • Strong problem-solving skills and hustle attitude • Comfortable using PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Salesforce experience is a plus, but not required • Entrepreneurial zeal and deep desire to build a business • Understanding, awareness and/or interest in the legal industry but not a necessary prerequisite
