Description

• As the Sales Finance Manager (HQ), you are a key member of the Sales and Finance teams directly supporting the Senior Director of the Sales Finance and Planning Team focused on the following: • Build New Reports and Capabilities to enhance the Finance and Planning Tool Kit • Represent the Voice of HQ and help set the agenda for the Sales Finance Team • Manage Selling Overhead Budget • Lead Sales Finance through periodic close process and monthly reporting • Other Ad-Hoc Responsibilities • Be the Voice of HQ to the Field • Help Sales Finance Director to continue to drive change within the organization • Communicate key information to the field and vice versa • Work directly in the following tools: Tableau, Anaplan, Asper, IRI, Excel, KIND’s Sales Cube, Trade pro • Support internal and external audits when necessary • Special projects as needed • Manage timely payments to brokers, including assessing current process and identifying ways to improve • Oversee various Selling Overhead Cost Centers, including developing annual budget, forecasts and tracking of actuals • Lead quarterly Internal TradePro Audit process, including developing robust tracking of key measures and work with Sales Managers and Sales Strategy and Finance Managers to correct errors • Manage monthly and annual close processes; monthly journal entries to true-up trade spend • Prepare customer profitability reports • Support annual and quarterly planning processes • Support annual year-end audit with external auditors • Perform periodic balance sheet reconciliation

Requirements

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in CPG • Experience in Sales Finance, FP&A or Other financial experience • Bachelors degree with strong quantitative focus including finance, economics, statistics, or other similar disciplines • Experience and understanding of advanced analytics and modeling applications to price and promotions • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) • Strong knowledge and active user of databases and similar tools • A track record of leadership translating strategies into action and delivering results by simplifying complex concepts and strategies • An executive presence that will allow you to present and engage with Senior Leadership • Demonstrated analytical and financial acumen skills • Strong communication skills • An understanding of how to manage conflict and competing priorities to a successful outcome • Demonstrated ability to take prompt action to accomplish objectives • Ability and desire to partner cross-functionally with internal and external partners to drive results • Ability to manage time, multiple priorities and handle a high volume of work
