Medical Guardian

Support customers with medical alert devices at Medical Guardian.

• Answer incoming telephone calls from customers and/or caregivers needing assistance with their order, product, billing and/or other account services.
• Guide callers through troubleshooting, navigating the company site or effectively using the products or services.
• Maintain superior knowledge of Medical Guardian products, services and billing practices to ensure that information communicated to the customer is accurate and complete.
• Perform account updates as needed and thoroughly document conversations to keep customer records complete and current.
• De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers; research issues and offer solutions to resolve problems.
• Be a company brand ambassador, promoting the value of additional products and services during service calls.
• Display positive attitude while communicating with all internal and external customers; collaborate with team members to improve the customer experience.
• Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative performance objectives.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Quickly and efficiently handle a high volume of customer inquiries via email, social, and live chat while navigating multiple computer systems
• Resolve customer issues related to orders, returns, shipping, and product information
• Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions using our CRM system
• Follow company guidelines and procedures to address customer inquiries while maintaining our brand's voice and values
• Provide 30-40 hours per week of customer support after initial training period (training will be approximately 10 hours per week to start)
• Provide availability to work as least one of the following windows: 6AM-2PM EST, 10AM-6PM EST, 2PM-10PM EST and/or 6PM-2AM EST
• Some weekend and holiday availability will be required
• This is a temporary-remote role lasting approximately 12-18 weeks
• Multiple training classes will be offered with varying start dates throughout mid-September – mid-October

• Responsible for providing support to Distributel Business Enterprise customers
• Assist business customers post sale related to account modifications, billing inquiries, cancellations, retentions, and general inquiries
• Resolve all service inquiries/requests and customer complaints within documented SLOs

Business Customer Care Associate

Provide support to business customers for account modifications and billing inquiries.

• Responsible for providing support to Distributel Business Enterprise customers
• Assisting business customers post sale related to account modifications, billing inquiries, cancellations, retentions, and other general inquiries
• Answering incoming customer contacts via call queue or email and tracking work via a ticketing system
• Provide accurate, detailed information regarding products, billing procedures, and payment options

Handle customer interactions with empathy while spotting and escalating issues.

• Respond to emails and live chats (goal is 200/tickets a day, depending on volume)
• Learn and be an expert in all the issues/situations our users need assistance with
• Be on the lookout for issues reported by customers and create Jira tickets for other departments to review/resolve
• Feel comfortable in escalating tickets as required and follow through to resolution
• Acknowledge all feedback given from management regarding QA, attitude, or performance reviews
• Escalation of all BBB threats, CFPB threats, FTC threats, legal matters and other high pressing issues to Management
