Description

• Directly supports the Area Sales Manager with all responsibilities related to delivering results that drive profitable growth and increasing market penetration. • Assists in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new DSR’s. • Leads, trains, coaches and develops a team of 4-12 DSRs. • In partnership with the Regional Sales Manager, the Direct Sales Supervisor is responsible for all aspects related to the performance management of the DSR team they support. This includes tracking results, communicating KPI’s, setting clear expectations, delivering timely feedback, following up on daily/weekly/monthly goals, and holding individuals accountable to high performance standards. • Responsible for leading from the front and implementing strategies that result in the successful attainment of individual and team sales targets. Traveling in the field, side-by-side selling and selling directly from the front is essential. • Mentors employees to ensure equitable treatment of all staff members in accordance with company policy and practices, and to be certain they are doing their best for themselves and the company. • Maintain sales production to meet or exceed individual targets. • Designate and communicate territory assignments to DSR team ensuring alignment with market penetration goals. • Executes a wide range of residential customer acquisition strategies including door-to-door, prospecting, events, information sessions and pop-ups. • Ensures the sales team is fully equipped with the necessary tools, information, knowledge, and skills to successfully support customers and meet or exceed performance goals. • Prioritizes continuous improvement and employee development by coordinating and leading various training initiatives using internal and external resources.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED • Strong written and oral communication skills, experience in customer relations, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite • Previous sales and/or sales support experience a plus
